Community Council Interim Elections 2025

At the AGM in June, the Community Council reluctantly accepted Janet Hobson's resignation. She has worked quietly and tirelessly for our community both as a Councillor and Treasurer for several years and we are immensely grateful for her contributions.
This reduced the number of elected Community Council members to 3 and, in accordance with the Scheme of Establishment, Highland Council have called Interim Elections.
Eligible members of our community can self nominate. Forms must be submitted by 12 noon on Tuesday 2nd September.
There are five vacant spaces. In the event that the number of nominations exceeds that number, formal elections will be held in October. The full timetable is available here.
